Glory-soaked streets
Paved with
gold
His watercolor Glory floods my soul
Visions of Heaven?
Perhaps.
But Who knows?
Surrounded by Glory
Peace slowly
unfolds
Neither car woes
Nor weather
Nor failing wipers
Nor surly employees
With smiles
like vipers
Separate from His Glory that soaks deep within
So keep hoping.
And praying.
And trusting in Him.

Linda will have to write the background here to do it justice, but I can tell you that it was written after a harrowing trip home from a wedding through the remnants of Hurricane Rita.
